1301 Sansome Street is located at the base of Telegraph Hill directly adjacent to the Filbert Street steps. This unique building was built in 1908; it was the warehouse and home to H.G. Walters and his wife. They built a rooftop penthouse complete with a dance floor for entertaining.
One of the highlights of this building is a lush rooftop garden with expansive views. Our scope of work included cutting into the concrete walls of the warehouse to create floor-to-ceiling windows. This brought in an abundance natural light into the space. Many windows face a leafy green wall of Telegraph Hill, while others have stunning views of the San Francisco Bay and Coit Tower.
