206 - 215 2nd Street
This three-story building, well-positioned at the corner of 2nd and Howard, was bought by Birmingham Development in 2006. We renovated it shortly thereafter using eco-conscious walnut sandblasting on the woodwork. The architecture highlights dramatic brick and timber construction with large windows on the front and back. A charming ground floor coffee shop, Chatz, has been a neighborhood staple for over a decade. 215 2nd Street is within easy walking distance to the SF MOMA, Moscone Center and Oracle Park.
Birmingham Development also owns the adjacent 5,000 square-foot parking lot next door.
