589 Howard Street is a brick and timber building located centrally in the SOMA district. It is a contributing building to the Second and Howard Streets National Register Historic District. Prominent San Francisco architect Frank S. Van Trees designed the building shortly after the 1906 earthquake and fires.

This five-story building has 2,500 square-foot floor plates, ideally suited for start-up offices and creative teams seeking a flexible, collaborative workspace. It is located only two blocks away from the Yerba Buena Gardens and SFMOMA.

Birmingham Development also owns the adjacent 5,000 square-foot parking lot next door.
