921 Front Street, built in 1848, is one of the oldest brick buildings in San Francisco. It survived the 1906 earthquake and fire. This building has had a wide range of uses throughout its history including as pencil factory, printing facility and flour mill. This building has been retrofitted and remodeled on the interior- creating some of the most beautiful office space in the Waterfront District.
The upstairs tenants have installed a spectacular gym. Brick arches are highlighted in walkways and windowframes throughout the building. Another very special feature is the speakeasy ~ “Whiskey Room”. This extensive underground venue includes a pool room, bar, foosball table and screening area. The Whiskey Room also houses a large collection of building memorabilia.
